Contemplations

Well after a couple more months of pouring over conversion websites and watching more Youtube videos of anything to do with campervans I decided to bite the bullet and get a van to start the conversion.
One thing I had decided on after a lot of consideration was to use my own caravan as a donor. We live in a very small bungalow that lacks storage space, and more and more stuff has been piled in their out of the way, so I would prefer to keep this one on the drive as opposed to an old, not so pleasant looking caravan being stuck their.
The equipment in the Senator is all decent stuff and I know that everything works, I could perhaps sell it for £3,500 if I was lucky, but then buy an old van as a donor and find a lot of the stuff not working, then have to get rid of it and also lose my storage space.
Their will still be stuff to buy, insulation, carpet lining and plywood, but then almost everything else would come out of the caravan.
