Not A Lot Of Time To Spare At The Moment

 

Testing the Silver Screens that I got off Ebay for £70 - half price. Although they were advertised for an 07 the mirror and other ties don't seem to be in the right place, but it fits perfect.

 

Edging in place and trimmed to size, so easy with the Bosch multi-tool. Sink and hop secured in place at last, still need to make the water, gas and electric connections.

A Change Of Plan

The last few days we have had heavy rain and wind so not much done in the van, but I have been sat in their planning as you do, and yesterday I decided I wasn't happy with the layout.

Mainly with the toilet being partly in front of the side door, so today the toilet, wardrobe and kitchen were ripped out and will change places. The kitchen will be by the side door slightly over-lapping and the toilet at the back with a narrower wardrobe in between the toilet and bench seat.

Possibly one of the least enjoyable jobs so far. probably because it didn't turn out as good as I expected because of one or two creases.

 

The bottom panels are being lined with burgundy carpet as a contrast, that will be an easier job as they are being lined before replacing, then screwed to the door with plastic burgundy caps over the screws.

The cold weather doesn't  help when trying to mould the carpet
