This blog at the moment isn't what's going on in life or anything like that.
I am contemplating converting a panel van (or minibus) into a camper van, and this blog will be my thoughts and decisions on the process of finding and purchasing a suitable vehicle and eventually the construction as it takes place.
There are lots of blogs and Youtube videos on the subject at the moment so this is nothing new, I am carefully studying these at the moment to find the best way to go about a conversion, the best vehicle to use, the size of the vehicle and the best layouts.
Ebay also is a great place to find the equipment needed in the construction, from insulation to toilets, they are all on Ebay usually at bargain prices.
Ebay also has plenty of suitable vans on sale, and also second hand campervans, which in the end I may end up buying if the price and condition is right.
One thing, the van (or camper-van) that I purchase will need to be small enough and economical enough to use as daily transport.
I have a caravan and Land Rover Discovery at the moment and these will need to be sold to finance the camper-van build (or buy).
I am saying I may end up buying a suitable camper-van, but I do like the idea of converting a van and being able to say this is all my own work.
My thoughts and findings will continue as I progress through this journey.
