Getting On At Last

The elusive roll of insulation

And the first piece is on

This is great stuff to work with, cuts with scissors and no waste

A tip: wear latex or some kind of gloves when using the spray glue other wise you will be trying to get it off your fingers for days, Oh and make sure the doors are open for plenty of ventilation.

This is where my one can of aerosol adhesive ran out

So carried on using double sided tape which seems to do a better job!

About 70% of the van done (not counting the floor), and I ran out of double sided tape! I think I will get another roll of the tape to finish it off, I will be getting 10 cans of adhesive when I order the carpet covering for the wall so I can use some of that for the awkward bits. I don't think any type of adhesive will be needed for the floor, it would just be a waste.
The deeper bottom panels I will fill up with the thick insulation, the panels were left on this side till I fit the water heater and 240v inlet, once they are in then I can insulate round them.

  1. The water heater is too tall to fit under the seat so another suitable place will have to be found :-)
